Insurance
Comprehensive Insurance is included in the tariff.
Mileage Allowance
Unlimited mileage allowance apart from Range Rovers vehicles
Roadside Assistance
A 24-hour roadside and home-relay service is provided, both of which are included in the tariff.
VAT
Value Added Tax (VAT) is included in the tariff.
Delivery and Collection
Free delivery and collection within 10 miles radius from Aylesbury office.
One-Way Rentals
One-way rentals are not allowed.
Continental Use
No vehicles going abroad will be allowed.
Child / Baby Seats / Booster Seats
We can provide child and baby seats. Additional charges will apply. Fitting is the responsibility of the hirer.
Rental Requirements
All hirers must present a full driving license, a valid passport and two additional forms of ID (e.g. bank statement and utility under 3 months old)
Drivers
Only the renter or other drivers approved by ABM Vehicle Rental at the time of rental are permitted to drive the vehicle. An additional charge of £7.50 per day will be applied for more than one driver.
Age Limits
Minimum age limits do apply over 23 years old with at least 3 points on their licence. There is a maximum age limit of 70 years.
Driving Experience
The driving license must have been held for at least 24 months at the time of rental. Overseas visitors may present their own national driving license or an international driving license. Endorsed driving licenses will be accepted at the discretion of ABM Vehicle Rental.
Payment
Payment is only acceptable by major credit cards and cash will be acceptable. At hire commencement, the estimated rental charge and the applicable refundable deposit of £250 will be required. The credit card holder must be present at the time of rental.
Minimum Rentals
A minimum of 48 hours rental applies Monday-Thursday and a minimum weekend hire from Friday-Monday.
Please note, the last termination before Monday morning is 16.00 hrs Friday afternoon. Any terminations after this time will be charged to Monday morning. ABM Vehicle Rental reserves the right to apply minimum hire periods without prior notice.
Vehicle Availability
Every effort will be made to supply the make and model requested, however in the unlikely event that the specific vehicle is not available and alternative model of similar size or higher will be offered.
Abortive deliveries or collections
A minimum charge of £25.00 applies for aborted deliveries and/or collections. The hire period will continue until the vehicle is collected.
Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 48-hours notice is required for cancellations. Cancellations made within 24-hours of rental commencement will attract a charge of 50% of 1-days hire. Last minute terminations will be charged for as one day's hire.
Termination Policy
At least two hours notification, within office hours, is required for vehicle terminations. The hirer is responsible for the safekeeping and well being of the vehicle until ABM Vehicle Rental collects it. All costs relating to parking etc. whilst awaiting collection are the hirer's responsibility. The hirer's responsibility lapses 8-working hours after the agreed collection time, at this point ABM Vehicle Rental is responsible for the vehicle.
Late Returns
Vehicles returned later in the day than the time specified on the rental agreement are subject to an additional days hire charge.
Vehicle Refuelling
All vehicles must be returned containing the same level of fuel it was released with. It is the hirer's responsibility for fuel used during delivery and/or collection. Vehicles requiring refuelling upon collection will be refuelled at a charge of £1.15 per litre plus VAT.
Vehicle Damage
In the event that a vehicle is damaged whilst on hire, ABM Vehicle Rental must be notified immediately. All repair costs and a loss of use charge will be applied until the vehicle is fully repaired and available for hire. The loss of use charge is the daily rate. The total cost will not exceed the insurance excess assuming insurance was purchased.
Non-Waivable Excess
A non-waivable excess applies equivalent to the deposit (see prices chart) will apply in the event of damage or theft. The hirer's liability will be limited to the insurance excess amount.
Waiver
These excesses can be reduced for a small daily payment. Please ask for details.
